<div>On May 16, 2025, an EF-3 tornado tore through the City of St. Louis, devastating North and West STL — the very communities where Black Men That Pray was founded and where our families live, serve, and uplift every day.

<div>This isn’t just news to us. This is home.

<div>We are a grassroots group of men from North City and West City of St. Louis who came together through faith, brotherhood, and a shared mission to support one another and our communities through prayer and action. This storm has directly affected our families, our neighbors, and the people we’ve grown up with.

<div><strong>That’s why we’re not waiting on help. We’re becoming the help.</strong>

<div>On Saturday, May 24, we’re teaming up with Tasty Treats STL to host a mobile food and supply giveaway, delivering hot meals, bottled water, and essentials directly to the neighborhoods most impacted by the tornado.

<div><strong>Who We Are</strong>: We are the founders and members of Black Men That Pray, a local faith-based community group in St. Louis committed to uplifting Black men and their families through faith, service, and support.

<div><strong>Where We’re From</strong>: Our group is made up of men who live in and represent the North and West sides of St. Louis — some of the areas hardest hit by the tornado.

<div><strong>Our Relationship to the Community</strong>: We are not outsiders. We’re raising funds for our own communities — the same streets we walk, the same schools our kids attend, the same neighbors we check on.

<div><strong>How the Funds Will Be Spent</strong>: Your donations will directly support the relief event on May 24 and our ongoing support efforts. Specifically, funds will be used to:

<div>• Purchase bottled water and beverages for safe hydration

</div>

<div>• Support additional pop-ups and re-up efforts as needs continue in the coming weeks
