<div>On July 21, 2025, Hector suffered a complex ankle fracture while taking a powerful leap of courage — skydiving as a bold act of resilience in his recovery journey.

<div>During landing, his foot caught the ground, causing a serious injury. While Hector understood the risks, he chose to face fear head-on, showing us all what true bravery looks like.

<div>He wasn’t just skydiving — he was making a statement for every person fighting for their recovery. His leap was a symbol of perseverance, hope, and strength.

<div>Hector is a warrior — and he did something truly powerful for our community.

<div>He does not have medical insurance, and all the surgery and follow-up care will be 100% out-of-pocket.

<div>His wife (newly married) will be taking time off work to help care for him, so his household income will be reduced.

</div>

<div>He is an independent photographer, and while he prays his upcoming events won’t be affected, the situation has made his future uncertain.
