<div>After 17 years of determination, setbacks and perseverance, the people of Johnstown are finally turning a derelict site in the heart of our village into something extraordinary — a vibrant community park for everyone to enjoy.

<div><strong>Planning</strong>
</div>
<div>Planning permission has been secured, the lease is in place, and the development is now underway. By next year, a long-neglected eyesore will become a welcoming space for families, children, walkers, gardeners, and the wider community.

<div><strong>Project Cost</strong>
</div>
<div>The project is estimated to cost €550,000 in total. The majority of this funding will come from Kildare County Council, Leader and other community funding organisations. We, the community, need to fund at least 10% of the cost through our own fund raising efforts.
</div>
<div>So far, a lot of work has been done to secure the site, planning permission and funds to commence the project, but we need your help to complete the vision.
