He welcomed tourists, served memorable meals, and provided a stage for emerging local music legends, including Sid Selvidge, Joyce Cobb, and Freeworld. His tireless work, long hours, and unwavering commitment have helped shape the character and spirit of Downtown Memphis.

For more than 20 consecutive years, he has partnered with Dallas Minner, Lindenwood Christian Church and Operation BBQ Relief to help prepare and serve Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for thousands of people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity, ensuring that no one was forgotten during the holidays.
