My son Jake was in a car vs bicycle accident, unfortunately he was the one on the bicycle. He sustained multiple fractures including skull, facial and open compound left arm fractures. He was doing what he loved when his world got turned upside down. This happened last Friday evening and he was training for his first bike race for the following Sunday. He had just started a new job 3 weeks prior so he does not have short term disability and has very little PTO. His school district does not participate in our state funded FMLA. This leaves him without any financial resources for medical bill deductible's, copays and his current expenses for rent/utilities, etc. Anything that anyone can do to help would be so appreciated.
