<div><strong>Now! 9/29 update in anticipation of 10/7 surgery.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hey y'all, I had a successful healing journey for the first round but now I need to go back in for the scheduled second phase! I'm excited to be fully finished with this journey but I need a little more help getting through this final phase.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much to those who have donated already! I couldn't do any of this without y'all

<div><strong>About Me</strong>
</div>
<div>Hi Everyone! My name is Ivy, and I have been medically transitioning for a little over three years. Now, I am getting gender-affirming surgery and I am so so excited. I grew up deep in the evangelical church, not even knowing what a transgender woman was, just knowing something was very wrong with who I was.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I finally met another transgender woman when I was twenty years old, everything clicked into place in my head and I knew that was me. I finished my degree at the conservative christian college I attended and began my medical transition, immediately losing my job and most of my community. Now I am living in Portland as the woman I've always been and I am so ready for this next big step!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why I need it</strong>
</div>
<div>I am expecting my surgery to be scheduled at the end of the summer and I am so ready for it. I experience severe, daily dysphoria and this will completely change the way I live my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am so lucky to have received income based financial assistance from the hospital I am getting my surgery with which means that I will not have to play for the first surgery out of pocket! <strong>This is not the case for this second surgery.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However as a bartender I am always working on my feet and moving 150lbs kegs around and I'm going to be out of commission for at least two months. I need help covering rent, basic necessities, and the many surgery related costs so I can focus on healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I couldn't live without my transition and I am so happy to be able to have y'all be a part of my journey!
</div>
