<div>2026 Update: Thank you to everyone who donated! We traveled to Fort Ord on September 2025 to test the water on the former base, redeveloped areas, and nearby community. Check out our website for the results: fortordcontamination.org. There were some worrying results, but most of the tests were at acceptable levels. Your donations helped us purchase $8150 worth of air, water, and soil tests.

<div>We plan to return this fall to continue the testing. Your donation will purchase more test kits. Thank you for your consideration.

<div>We are sick veterans, family members, and community members who are ill from the highly contaminated former US military base in California called Fort Ord. <div>We are raising funds to do independent testing on behalf of sick veterans and sick family members who lived on Fort Ord, and concerned community members who live nearby and on the redeveloped base. We plan to test for PFAS, TCE, CT, Agent Orange and other contaminants found on the former base.

<div>We have a database of over 1600 people who have cancer and other illnesses from Fort Ord. We want to do independent testing so the VA and other officials start to take this seriously. We know people continue to get sick.
