<div>On Saturday, December 13, Winnie ingested a small amount of Xylitol, a generally safe human ingredient but highly toxic substance to dogs. She was rushed to the emergency vet, where she spent the last 5 days undergoing treatments, including plasma transfers, in the hopes of saving her. Sadly, despite round-the-clock care, Winnie did not make it.

<div>We would do anything to have more time with her. Rest in peace, Winnie.
