<div>On the night of Labor Day, my husband Elijah suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was transferred to the trauma unit where he was then placed in a sedated coma while doctors ran tests to decide his fate. Elijah spent 4 days in the ICU fighting for his life. On September 6th at 10:11 am, Elijah took his last breath. The family is so blindsided by this tragic incident.
