<div>Dr. Naser Najmaei was born in 1950 and raised in challenging circumstances. Against all odds, he was admitted to one of the most prestigious medical schools in the region. He went on to become a pioneering urologist, performing some of the earliest surgeries of their kind in his province and country.

<div>He was not only a gifted surgeon, but a principled man — a lifelong advocate for freedom and women's rights in a deeply patriarchal society. His courage, conviction, and compassion left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

<div>He always supported his wife, Dr. Simin Torabi-Nezhad, and often sacrificed his own career to help her thrive. Thanks to his unwavering belief in her, she became the youngest professor at a major university and one of the most respected pathologists in the region.

<div>At the age of 40, Dr. Najmaei was diagnosed with diabetes — a disease he battled for decades with extraordinary strength. On June 21, 2025, he passed away from complications related to diabetes. His loving wife, Simin, was by his side. Sadly, due to an ongoing conflict in the region, his son and daughter were unable to be there to say goodbye.

<div>He leaves behind his wife, Simin; his children, Dorna and Nima; his daughter-in-law, Sadaf; and his grandsons, Daniel and Dylan — along with a legacy of healing, justice, and unwavering love.

<div>In his memory, we are raising funds to support diabetes research — in the hope that future generations can live free from the suffering this disease brings.
