<div>For many people in New Brighton and Wallasey, he was part of their daily routine — a familiar face on morning walks, a gentle presence, and a small but meaningful constant during difficult times, especially through lockdown. His daily “good morning” posts became a quiet comfort to many, and his loss has been felt far beyond his home.

<div>We’d like to create a permanent memorial for Cain in Vale Park — either a bench or a small statue, subject to council permissions — somewhere peaceful and welcoming, where people can sit, reflect, and remember not just Cain, but the companions they’ve loved and lost over the years.
