<div>On November 30, 2025, my 15-year-old nephew, Jacari, was shot inside his own home when someone fired multiple rounds into the house. He was inside his safe place, where he should have been protected.

<div>He was rushed to Riverside Hospital and fought for his life for two days. On December 2, 2025, he passed away. Our family is shattered.

<div>Jacari was gentle, funny, and caring. He loved gaming and music, and he always tried to make others smile. His brothers and sisters are devastated. Their home no longer feels safe.
