<div>Hi, my name is josh and i am fundraising I recently spent two weeks volunteering at Vine Heritage Home, a rescue centre just outside Abuja, Nigeria. The children here were once at risk of infanticide simply for being twins, albino, or born under circumstances that led to cultural rejection.

<div>The home gives them love and protection — but the living conditions are deeply challenging.

<div>While I was there, I witnessed:

<div>	•	Over 20 children crammed into a single room, with small beds and little air circulation
</div>
<div>	•	Strong indoor smells and poor ventilation — it was hard to breathe at times
</div>
<div>	•	Unclean water, flies everywhere, and limited hygiene
</div>
<div>	•	Only a broken plastic basketball hoop and two makeshift football goals for recreation
</div>

<div>Despite all this, the kids were incredibly happy, warm, and full of life. They appreciated everything I gave them — but they deserve so much more.
