<div>For someone who has experienced homelessness, receiving the keys to a property should be a moment of hope. Unfortunately, many people reach this important stage with no money for removal costs, no suitable transport and no way of moving their belongings.

</div>
<div>Some have only a few bags. Others have children, furniture and the possessions they have managed to hold on to through an extremely difficult period of their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without affordable transport, a housing offer can quickly become another overwhelming obstacle.
</div>

<div>WHO WE ARE
</div>

<div>Konnecting the Dots CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to eradicating homelessness—one step at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We work directly with individuals and families who are homeless, sofa surfing, living in temporary accommodation or struggling to secure and maintain a suitable home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, our work is not limited to people experiencing homelessness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also support:

<div>• Families moving out of temporary accommodation
</div>
<div>• People escaping domestic abuse or unsafe living conditions
</div>
<div>• Care leavers and vulnerable young adults
</div>
<div>• Disabled people moving into more suitable accommodation

</div>
<div>• People relocating because their existing property is unaffordable or unsuitable

<div>• Individuals moving between properties who have no practical support

<div>We walk alongside people throughout the process—from finding accommodation and completing applications to liaising with councils and landlords, preparing for the tenancy and helping them settle into their new home.

<div>WHY WE URGENTLY NEED A VAN
</div>

</div>
<div>At the moment, we must rely on hired vehicles, removal companies or the availability of other people whenever somebody needs to move.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These costs quickly add up and can delay a move at the very moment a vulnerable person needs us most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Having our own van would allow us to respond more quickly and help more people. It would enable us to:

<div>• Move individuals and families into safe accommodation
</div>
<div>• Collect and deliver donated furniture and household essentials
</div>
<div>• Transport Konnect Fresh Starter Packs
</div>
<div>• Help people move between temporary and permanent homes
</div>
<div>• Support emergency and urgent relocations
</div>
<div>• Collect beds, tables, chairs and other essential items before they are lost
</div>
<div>• Reduce the cost of supporting each household
</div>
<div>• Reach more vulnerable people across our communities

<div>This van would not sit unused. It would be a working community resource, helping people move forward throughout the year.

<div>It may be a person who has experienced homelessness carrying the few possessions they have into a place they can finally call their own.
