<div>My name is John Mputu, and I am a circus artist from Zambia. Since 2016, I have dedicated myself to circus arts, training in acrobatics, hand balancing, and aerial rope with <a href="https://www.circuszambia.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Circus Zambia</a>. Growing up in Chibolya, a community often associated with poverty and crime, circus became more than a passion—it became a path to hope, discipline, and a better future.

<div>For many years, I dreamed of attending a professional circus school and performing on the global stage. Today, that dream is becoming a reality. I have been accepted into the BA (Hons) Circus Arts programme at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London, one of the world’s leading circus schools. I was also awarded a 50% Overseas Bursary, reducing my tuition fees and recognizing my potential as an artist.
