This is the <strong>strongest storm ever to directly hit the island nation</strong>, and one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record. Communities in Jamaica, Haiti, and across the region experienced record-breaking rainfall, catastrophic flooding, and 180 mph winds. Damage to critical infrastructure has left many families stranded without access to food, clean water, power, and medicine. The storm’s impact will be felt for years, and many already vulnerable families urgently need relief and support.
