 Aloha, my name is John Mahikoa Uribe, and I’m raising funds for my family in the aftermath of Hurricane Lowell.

 We live in Wailua Homesteads, and our property was heavily impacted by the storm-force winds, which uprooted most of our mature trees and caused damage to our land and vehicle. Thankfully, my family is safe—my parents and little sis were able to shelter in our basement.

 With so many large trees down, removing them will be a major undertaking. We’ve made work of clearing the driveway, and the major debris around the house—but we expect the bulk of the removal is going to be too much for us to do on our own. If anyone knows someone who may be able to help with removal, or is able to support us in any capacity, it would truly mean the world to our family.
