<div>My grandad, Robert Jones, who battled dementia, kidney failure, and other health issues. For the last two years, our family has been caring for him full-time with love, patience, and dedication.

<div>Recently, he went missing and was gone for six long days. Despite our desperate search day and night since his disappearance, with very little response from the assigned detective on this case, <strong>we were just notified that he was found in a field — he had been trying to find his way home.</strong> Our hearts are completely shattered by this devastating and unexpected loss.

<div>We are now preparing to lay him to rest and give him the peaceful farewell he deserves. He’s originally from Michigan, and we’ll be traveling home for his service and burial.
