<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Markham Maes, a beloved husband, father, artist, and friend to so many in our Denver community. Markham’s incredible talent as an artist, muralist, curator, and screen-printer brought joy and inspiration to all who experienced his whimsical creations. Beyond his artistic talent, he was a devoted father to Zae, Lilly, Jonah, and Ezra—a present, loving, and selfless dad who poured his heart into his family. His infectious smile and warm laughter had a way of making everyone feel at home. Markham’s wife, Shantell, and his four children are navigating unimaginable grief while adjusting to life without his steady love and support.
