<div>On June 2, in the middle of an ordinary afternoon, the world tilted. Dawit, known to so many as DJ Simbah, took his last breath while sharing a meal with his fiancée and their newborn daughter. One moment he was living, laughing, loving. The next, he was gone. No warning. No time. Just pure heartbreak - shattering and silent.

<div>Dawit was truly one of a kind. Through the beats he dropped, the laughter he sparked, and the way he could light up a room just by walking into it, he brought people together. He turned strangers into soulmates and gatherings into family. He had a rare gift, making you feel like you mattered, like you were seen, deeply and truly loved. To so many of us, he was family. A brother in every sense of the word.

<div>Since that devastating moment, so many of you have reached out - stunned, grieving, searching for a way to hold this aching loss and do something, anything, to honor him and help his family. Especially the two hearts he left behind far too soon.
