Ashley Lopez, my beautiful sister, was a person of remarkable strength and a heart so genuine it touched everyone she met. Her resilience was evident in every challenge she faced, and she always approached life with courage and determination. Ashley's strength was not just in her ability to overcome obstacles, but in the way she lifted others up, offering unwavering support and kindness. Her big heart was a source of comfort and inspiration, and she never hesitated to help those in need, giving freely of herself without expecting anything in return.

 On Thursday, Ashley was involved in a tragic head-on collision on Mountain View Road near Club House Drive, just outside Desert Hot Springs. The crash, which involved two vehicles, occurred when a northbound vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lanes, striking Ashley's vehicle head-on. Both vehicles caught fire immediately after the impact. Ashley was the female driver and was pronounced dead at the scene. Three of Ashley's four children suffered injuries, and bystanders rushed to the burning wreckage before emergency crews arrived, pulling the victims to safety. The loss of Ashley has left our family heartbroken, and her four children are now facing a future without their loving mother.
