<div>On October 16, 2024, Col. Michael “Rags” Seltzer passed away after a heroic battle with cancer. Mike likely contracted cancer as a result of exposure to toxic chemicals while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan and was specifically <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?c5027166/user-clip-mike-seltzer-recognized-pact-act-ceremony" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recognized for his courage and sacrifice by Speaker</a> Nancy Pelosi during the signing of the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honoring_our_PACT_Act_of_2022" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">PACT Act</a>.
