<div>viele von euch kennen und schätzen Alejandro Hermida – als inspirierenden Lehrer, leidenschaftlichen Tänzer und wunderbaren Menschen. Er hat unsere Tango-Szene über Jahre geprägt, uns Freude, Musik und Gemeinschaft geschenkt.

<div>Nun steht Alejandro vor einer schwierigen Situation: Bevor er Deutschland verlassen und in Indien einen neuen Lebensabschnitt beginnen kann, muss er Corona-Hilfen in Höhe von ca. 4000 € zurückzahlen. Diese Rückforderung ist nicht auf falsche Angaben zurückzuführen, sondern entstand durch ein Fristversäumnis infolge von Umzügen und der schwierigen Wohnsituation in Berlin. Leider bleibt die Forderung rechtlich bestehen.

<div>Sein Weggang ist zudem nicht ganz freiwillig – ausländerrechtliche Gründe spielen eine Rolle. Noch besteht eine kleine Chance, dass er bleiben kann, aber die Rückzahlung wäre in jedem Fall fällig.

<div>Da Alejandro über keine Rücklagen verfügt, stellt ihn diese Zahlung vor große Probleme und gefährdet seinen Neustart. Deshalb starten wir als Freunde und Schüler diese Fundraising-Kampagne.

<div>Jeder Beitrag – ob groß oder klein – hilft direkt, diese Last zu schultern. Und auch wenn ihr selbst nicht spenden könnt, unterstützt uns bitte, indem ihr die Kampagne in eurem Umfeld teilt. <div>many of you know and appreciate Alejandro Hermida – as an inspiring teacher, a passionate dancer, and a wonderful human being. He has enriched our tango scene for years, bringing us joy, music, and a sense of community.

<div>Now Alejandro is facing a difficult situation:

<div>Before he can leave Germany and begin a new chapter of life in India, he has to repay COVID support funds of about €4,000. This repayment is not due to any false statements, but resulted from a missed deadline caused by frequent moves and the difficult housing situation in Berlin. Unfortunately, the demand is legally binding.

<div>His departure is also not entirely voluntary – immigration issues play a role. There is still a small chance that he may be able to stay, but the repayment would be required in any case.

<div>Since Alejandro has no savings, this payment poses a serious problem and threatens his new beginning. That’s why we, as his friends and students, are starting this fundraising campaign.
