<div>When my family moved to Jacksonville in the 4th grade, Tracy was the first person I met. We grew up a few houses apart and never imagined something like this could happen. When the fire hit, it left his <strong>family of six </strong>in a situation they never expected — suddenly displaced and having to ask for help.

<div>The support over the past few days has shown how much this family is loved. They’re staying positive, focusing on gratitude, and most importantly — everyone is safe. The Red Cross stepped in immediately with short-term assistance for hotel lodging and basic essentials, and they are deeply grateful for that support.

<div>But the reality is this: the fire destroyed everything inside the home and none of it was insured. <strong>Cleanup</strong>, <strong>demolition</strong>, <strong>and rebuilding </strong>will be completely <strong>out of pocket</strong>, and the costs are significant — especially with four children, the youngest being just 8 and 6 years old.

<div>Raising the goal isn’t about replacing every sentimental item — it’s about giving this family a fighting chance to rebuild a home and restore stability for their kids.
