<div>Hello, my name is Baldish i am a single parent, and I am the proud parent of an incredible, bright-eyed 13 year old boy named Ishaan (Shani). From the moment Ishaan came into my life, he has filled my world with a unique and beautiful light. Our family’s story includes a chapter we didn't expect, but have learned to navigate with love, strength, and resilience. Ishaan was diagnosed with xyy syndrome and put on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at the age of 7 years old.

<div>XYY is a genetic condition, simply meaning he has an extra Y chromosome. It’s not a disease, it’s a part of his unique wiring that makes him who he is, often wonderfully energetic, very tall for his age, and possessing a heart of pure gold, and while this diagnosis explained the challenges we both were seeing, it began a new chapter in our lives, which i dedicated to finding him the best support possible.

<div>Ishaan is an amazing child. He loves lining up his toy cars, watching the spinning wash machine, and playing on his iPad as he enjoys watching videos on you tube, playing Roblox, pixel gun and also giving me the most wonderful hugs and kisses. His laughter is contagious, and he sees the world in a way that constantly teaches us about joy, patience, and perspective.

<div>While his autism and xyy is a part of who he is, it also comes with significant challenges that affect his daily life. He struggles with verbal communication and says single words to three word sentences only. Listening skills he also finding challenging, He experiences overwhelming sensory input that can lead to immense anxiety. We are working on crucial life skills like safety awareness and self-care. Things that seem simple to us, like getting dressed, cleaning our teeth, putting on our shoes, crossing the road, or even knowing when something is dangerous, are incredibly complex for him. His brain doesn't automatically send him those safety signals. So, my most important job is to be his external safety brain. I'm there to help guide him through tasks and keep him secure, because his well-being is everything to me.

<div>I have tirelessly researched and found proven therapies that can make a world of difference for him, such as:

<div>Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy (OT) which are helping him a little, but not making a big difference. Ishaan attends a silc school and has a educational health care plan in place, which im so grateful for.

<div>Our Daily Reality, The Challenges We Face Together

<div>Being 13 years old is hard for any kid. For my son, the typical challenges of adolescence are amplified. My days are spent as his guide, his advocate, and his safe harbor.
</div>

</div>
<div>The World Can Be Overwhelming, Imagine trying to concentrate when the lights are too bright, the sounds are too sharp, and your own body is buzzing with energy. This is often his reality. A simple school day requires immense effort for him to focus and feel settled.
</div>

</div>
<div>The Social World is a Puzzle, Reading social cues and navigating friendships doesn’t come instinctively. I see his longing for connection sometimes met with confusion or misunderstanding, which is a heartache every parent knows too well.
</div>

</div>
<div>I Am His Constant Advocate. My life involves countless meetings with teachers and doctors to ensure he has the support he needs in school, therapies to help him build crucial skills, and constant vigilance to protect his self-esteem from the bumps and bruises of feeling different.
</div>

</div>
<div>There are days of exhaustion and frustration for both of us. But in our home, we don't see a condition, we see a courageous boy doing his best.
</div>

</div>
<div>We Find Calm in Routine. We structure our days with predictability. Knowing what to expect gives him a sense of control and safety in a world that can feel chaotic.
</div>

</div>
<div>We Channel Energy into Passion. That incredible energy is a superpower waiting for the right outlet. We found this in swimming, trampolining and dancing and laughing and being happy. Here he isn't a kid with XYY, or autism, he's an athlete, confident and capable.
</div>

<div>We Communicate with Radical Honesty. We talk openly about emotions. A meltdown isn't a tantrum; it's a communication. We've learned to reset together, to name the feeling, and to find a path forward, side-by-side.
</div>

</div>
<div>I Am my Ishaan's Mirror. My most important job is to reflect back to him the incredible person I see. I remind him that his height makes him a natural leader. His intensity is passion. His different way of thinking is creativity. I am his loudest cheerleader, and my pride in the young man he is becoming knows no bounds.

<div>I share this not for sympathy, but for understanding. I share it because I am proud of our journey and want to demystify what it means for my Ishaan to live with XYY and autism. By understanding his daily reality, you can better appreciate his triumphs and the strength of our family.

<div>A Beacon of Hope: Stem Cell Therapy

<div>In my relentless search for ways to help my son, I have been profoundly encouraged by the emerging research and countless positive testimonies from families regarding stem cell therapy, all around the world.

<div>Despite its promise, this treatment is not covered by insurance and comes with a significant financial cost. The total amount for the procedure, travel, and medical expenses for just one treatment minimum is around £16500 per treatment depending on the country and hospital we get the stem cell therapy treatment from, and for a good result outcome they say 2 to 3 treatments are needed for him. so around £50.000 minimum is needed for his treatments.

<div>This is a sum I cannot manage on my own as I'm a single parent and ishaan carer.

<div>if the treatment gives my Ishaan any of the above improvement's as it says stem cell can achieve,  its life changing improvements, his life will be so much better for him and easier as at the moment he's dependant on me for everything, this will make him independent and give him a chance to live a good life full of hope.
