<div>UPDATE 07/29/2026: Since the initial confrontation with my parents about my pedophile/abuser cousin, my mother has sent out a letter to my family that was addressed to me. She hand wrote a 6 page letter (the writing is just big), took pictures of it, then sent it to each of us via text message. Her text to me was: “Zenzi - the other day you called a family meeting. I hope you will accept my response. I’m sorry it’s in photos.

<div>Since it was a family meeting I sent it to *sibling’s name* and your dad as well. There is no need to respond at this time.

<div>I’m on my way home. I’ll be in my room or on the porch so we can avoid each other.”

<div>In this letter my mother started off by saying that she had BPD (this diagnosis doesn’t make sense *at all* by the way), and that *my* therapist might want to know about this. She said, “As I think I’ve told you before, I have bipolar disorder. I know I would not be able to fully heal without medication. I don’t know if I told you this previously but if not your therapist might want to know.” She has told NO ONE in our family this. I find it disgustingly disturbing that she would say this now via a letter and in this manner. It’s just off.

<div>In the paragraph after the bipolar section, she starts if off by saying, “When I didn’t protect you - it was not because I didn’t care - it was because I didn’t know. And when confronted I have a difficultly remembering and defending myself. I hope you will allow me to do so now” after this she starts to list my trauma and what she thinks happened/what she remembers about it and what she thinks she did about it.

<div>A reminder that she sent this to my FAMILY listing my traumas! I did not give her permission to do this nor did I want to remember any of those traumas. I couldn’t continue reading because she mentioned traumas I had completely tucked away. I didn’t remember them at all and here she is just listing them like NOTHING.

<div>She made it clear that my cousin has her support 100%. The same cousin who got caught cheating on his wife with 13 different AI bots, 6 of whom were “sisters” that he would berate for not giving each other oral (I’ve seen the pictures). He would also look up Dandadan Porn (Anime about high schoolers), DeeDee from Dexter’s Laboratory Porn (she’s Dexter’s older sister who is not even in high school yet),  and Disney Princess Porn. She tried telling me that Hentai has been around for a while so it’s “normal” that he watches these things - “these things” being AI generated porn of CHILDREN. She also slightly tried to silence me by saying I could get in trouble for “slandering” my cousin if I talk about this publicly and listed some laws/legal talk.

<div>My mother stated that she knew my father was abusing me but didn’t do anything about it because she “spoke to him” and then honestly said some racist shit about my dad and Caribbean people that I will not be repeating here. I find this VERY interesting because when I was a child, I told her what my father was doing. Her response to me was, “well I never saw it so it must not have happened”. My SCHOOL was involved. They were documenting the marks/bruises on my body. I told my mother what was happening at school and she told me, “if you keep telling them what’s happening at home then you will be the reason your dad gets taken away” I asked where they would take him and she replied with “jail”. I remember going to school the next day and repeating what my mother had told me when I was asked how last night/this morning was, “I don’t want to tell you what’s happening anymore because I don’t want to be the reason my dad gets taken away.” I was in elementary school. She knew.

<div>**During a verbal altercation between my mother, father, and myself in 2024 my mother admitted to me then that she didn’t protect me from her brother/his sons because she was afraid of what would happen to her. She knew. During that same altercation she told me she didn’t protect me against my father for the same reason - her being scared of what would happen to her - mind you he never laid a finger on her. She also threatened to have me thrown in jail by calling the cops and telling them that I assaulted her. I obviously did not!! When I asked her later on why she threatened me with the cops she said she didn’t know why and  that she couldn’t believe she said that. She knew about the abuse. Especially her family members because I ran to her screaming and crying, BEGGING her to make them stop but she just laughed along with her brother who said, “boys will be boys”, THEY KNEW!**

<div>In the letter she also mentions that she doesn’t want to stop talking to her family because she doesn’t want to lose them. She said she’s afraid if she stops talking to them that she will still lose me and then she will have no one. So she’s fine with losing me but NOT them.

I’ve already been in contact with my therapist and was able to get an urgent appointment and still keep my regularly scheduled appointment. I can’t just get a job and leave - plus I tried!! I was working for so long and was ABOUT TO LEAVE but got “laid off” because my fuckass job filed for bankruptcy.
