<div>Zeke is a bright, brave two year old boy with a smile that lights up the room. After a virus attacked Zeke's heart, he has spent many difficult weeks in the hospital. The doctors are working with Derek and Leanne on a plan to possibly bring Zeke home-- a place where he can be surrounded by love, comfort, and familiarity as he continues to fight and hopefully have some healing.

<div>The heart failure doctors remind Derek and Leanne that Zeke's heart is still in severe heart failure and even with medication, over the next few weeks and months, his heart could show itself to be too weak to sustain his body. If this were to happen, Zeke would then need to be moved to U of M hospital in Ann Arbor and stay there for around eight months while he would prepare for a heart transplant.

<div>Zeke will have a lot of medical needs and the doctors are preparing derek and Leanne for all of these. One thing they have mentioned is having their house ready for Zeke's condition and medical needs. To make sure his health is not compromised in any way, one of those things mentioned is to have a very sterile area for Zeke to take a bath.
