<div>Hi, my name is Victor Ramirez. For the past three years, I’ve worked as a street vendor in Long Beach, selling ice cream and corn to provide for myself. On Saturday, while working like I always do, I was brutally attacked by someone trying to rob me.

<div>I was stabbed and left bleeding in the street. Thankfully, a kind neighbor saw what happened and ran out to help—scaring the attacker away before it got worse. The police and ambulance came, and I was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital for emergency stitches.

<div>I survived, but now I’m left scared, injured, and unable to return to work. This is my only source of income, and right now I don’t know how I’m going to get by.
