</div>
<div>After 29 years of silence, our brother Matt, a retired detective, devoted father, mental advocate, and fiercely loyal friend, finally confronted the priest who abused him in his youth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead of seeking revenge or even avoidance, Matt offered him forgiveness. That moment of grace, which he documented for others who may be facing their own challenging situations, sparked the most courageous decision I've ever witnessed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt came into our lives through family, but he quickly became family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows Matt knows he gives selflessly and passionately to others. He's a great father, a top-tier friend, and the kind of person who shows up when you need him most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through the Special Forces Experience, Matt became a respected and admired member of our cadre. He's someone we all look up to for his quiet strength and unwavering integrity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Now, our brother needs your help.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt has decided to embark on an epic 5,000+ mile pilgrimage across ocean and land. He will be sailing approximately 22 to 28 days across the Atlantic, followed by a long-form pilgrimage through Europe that includes an extended walking journey and a final passage to Ireland.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt's story represents millions of people who feel spiritually homeless as institutions crumble around us. His courage to seek healing outside broken systems offers hope to anyone who's lost faith but still seeks meaning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why We're Asking for Your Help:</strong>
</div>
<div>We need $21,420 USD to fund Matt's pilgrimage and follow his transformative journey from Canada, across the big ocean and through Europe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar goes directly to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Everything Matt needs to undertake this pilgrimage
</li>
<li>The Atlantic crossing, approximately 22 to 28 days at sea
</li>
<li>The overland and walking pilgrimage through Europe
</li>
<li>The final passage and integration period in Ireland
</li>
<li>Documenting and producing his story to share with the world
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This Film Could Change Lives:</strong>
</div>
<div>Just like Matt has impacted everyone in our family, Special Forces community, and his own mens' group, his story has the power to help trauma survivors, people questioning their faith, and anyone seeking their own path to healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt has spent his life giving to others. Will you help us give back to him?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, helps tell the story of one human's courage to transform pain into purpose.
