<div>For generations, visitors to the Tower Museum have learned the story of Frederick Crumbaugh’s portrait—the little boy whose image has become a rite of passage for Western Springs guests. This painting, along with the companion portraits of Frederick’s parents, is more than just artwork; it is a priceless piece of our town’s story, painted by an important nineteenth-century American artist.
