<div>Jack is 8 years old and truly the sweetest boy in the world. We’ve had him since he was just a few months old, and in that time he’s grown into the most bold, friendly, and loving cat you could imagine. He’s been an incredible emotional support animal and a wonderful brother — always there with a purr, a headbutt, or a cuddle when you need it most.

<div>Over the past month, though, he’s started eating less and less until it became clear that something was seriously wrong.

<div>The vet found out he’s anemic and underweight, and there’s a chance he may have heart disease causing it. He’s currently on steroids to help keep him stable, but they also come with a big risk of heart failure — which makes seeing a cardiologist even more urgent.

<div><strong>Jack needs more testing, treatment, and possibly blood transfusions to have a real chance at recovery.</strong> The costs are overwhelming, and we just can’t do it on our own. He means everything to us, and I just want to give him the chance to get better.
