It's been disheartening to see what hurricane Melissa has done, destroying my island, people, their homes and food baskets. This devastating storm has left destruction across the island including my community, neighbours and family whom have lost their homes, livelihoods, and sense of safety.  Families, including children and senior citizens are now displaced and in desperate need of shelter and essential supplies. I am doing all that I can to help the families of Jamaicans back on their feet.
