<div>Hi, I’m Nicola, Max is my best friend (Cara)‘s little boy who has been battling Leukemia since he was 1. He is now 4 years old and his cancer is proving stubborn.

<div>This isn’t the first time I’ve fundraised in Max’s honour.

<div>I raised over 20k in 2022 and shaved my head for the childrens cancer institute. Cara was adamant she didn’t want to accept peoples money and thankfully they have had the finances to support nearly 3 years of constant treatment and all that’s involved with that. The money from my head shave went to children’s cancer research and that was Cara’s wish. But our goal posts have changed now and after the latest update from his specialists here in Australia, his best chance for treatment is not available here. It requires him to go to Singapore into specialised care which will require over $150k in treatment costs alone, which is sadly not government funded.
