<div>We still face significant remaining work to make the house safe from mold. After careful assessment, the minimum amount we need to complete the essential remediation and repairs is around <strong>$25,000</strong>. This will cover critical items such as new insulation, drywall, flooring, toilets, sinks, etc. I will update a post with a Home Depot link with the necessary items (with the exception of the attic/crawlspace insulation, disposal costs of old drywall) and other necessary work to make the home habitable again.

<div>I will be doing the majority of the demo work myself to keep costs as low as possible. Every dollar raised will go directly toward getting our family back into a safe, healthy home.
