<div>In November 2024, our lives were turned upside down when the corporate franchisor behind our  store in Keizer, Oregon abruptly seized our business, changed the locks, confiscated our inventory, and publicly accused us of theft. After more than a year of trying to resolve this privately and professionally with corporate leadership, we were left with no choice but to file a lawsuit.

<div>We are now asking for help covering the overwhelming legal costs required to fight this battle.

<div>For nearly two years, we poured everything we had into building our store and serving our community. We invested our savings and worked countless hours to build a warm, inclusive, and fun environment for our wonder customer base.

<div>We have already invested nearly $30,000 into legal fees, filings, and dispute resolution efforts just to get to this point. We attempted for over a year to resolve this directly with corporate through our attorneys before filing suit, but every attempt failed.

<div>Recently, a popular creator released a documentary-style video covering our story, and it has gained significant international attention. As more people learn about what happened, we’ve been flooded with messages from others expressing outrage and support.

<div>At the same time, additional legal filings connected to corporate have made it clear that they intend to continue fighting aggressively and using delay tactics rather than allowing this matter to simply be heard openly in court. That reality has only reinforced how important this support truly is.

<div>Despite everything, we are determined to keep moving forward, and after more than a year of trying to resolve this privately, we look forward to finally having our day in court.
