<div>The Fife Heritage Railway (FHR) has been successful in obtaining a major grant from the Levenmouth Reconnected Programme (LRP) to build a new Exhibition Hall at our site at Kirkland Yard, Leven. This grant amounts to £360k and represents 75% of the original total needed for the project (£480k). Since then, extra planning requirements along with increased cost of materials have brought the total to £622k. The total raised so far through other grants and fundraising is £467k, which leaves a funding gap of £155k. This is the revised target for this appeal.

<div>The Exhibition Hall will be a game-changer for the FHR and the local community. It will allow us, for the first time, to bring our stock of historic railway vehicles under cover. This will not only protect and conserve these valuable historic artefacts, but also enable us to properly display them for the enjoyment of the public.

</div>
<div>The Exhibition Hall will have some 1200sq m of floorspace and has been designed to be multi-purpose. The railway stock can be readily removed to allow use by the wider community for displays, events, exhibitions, farmers’ markets, etc.

</div>
<div>This project is part of a strategic plan to provide Levenmouth with a major visitor attraction that will make the most of the new rail link, which is already having a positive impact. The Exhibition Hall will form a key component of our new visitor facility complex, which will open soon with a community café, bookshop, museum and large model railway exhibition.

</div>
<div>To make all this happen we need your help. Please consider supporting this very worthwhile project, which will benefit both the FHR and the wider community.
