Nuestros padres, Gloria y Gabriel, fueron detenidos por ICE cerca del restaurante Rigo’s, arrancados de nosotros sin aviso y en el momento en que más los necesitábamos. Somos dos hermanos — uno de 20 años y otro de 16 años que aún está en la escuela. Ninguno de nosotros tiene una fuente de ingresos estable. De un día para otro perdimos no solo a nuestros padres, sino también a quienes nos daban estabilidad, seguridad y todo lo esencial para sobrevivir. Gloria y Gabriel: Una Pareja Trabajadora y Querida por la Comunidad Nuestro papá es el dueño de GR ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC, un negocio familiar muy conocido en Washington por su profesionalismo, su honestidad y la calidad de su trabajo en techos y construcción. Él se ganó el respeto de la comunidad con años de esfuerzo y dedicación. Nuestra mamá y nuestro papá siempre han sido personas trabajadoras, humildes y dispuestas a ayudar. Han apoyado a familias, vecinos y a cualquier persona que lo necesitara. Siempre dieron lo mejor de sí para sacar adelante a su familia y servir a la comunidad. Hoy, quienes siempre ayudaron, son los que necesitan ayuda.
