During a recent eight-day stay in the hospital, I met an incredible person who was going through a very tough time. Their resilience and kindness, even in the face of hardship, deeply moved me. I realized how many unhoused people in my area are struggling to meet their basic needs, and how important it is to treat everyone with dignity and respect. For privacy, I won’t share their name, but their story inspired me to take action.

These resources can help them feel safe and warm while they transition into shelters, offering comfort and relief during a difficult period. My goal is to support not just one person, but as many people as possible, depending on how much is raised.
