<div>The ongoing conflict in Sudan has triggered one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises, displacing millions. As the violence continues, civilians have been forced to flee their homes to escape airstrikes, ethnic attacks, and widespread insecurity. Over 7 million people have been internally displaced, while hundreds of thousands have sought refuge in neighbouring countries.

<div>Refugees often face harsh conditions, with limited access to food, clean water, healthcare, and shelter. The conflict has severely hindered humanitarian aid efforts, leaving vulnerable populations—especially women and children—at increased risk of starvation, disease, and exploitation.

<div>The Nubian Queens Project works to bridge this gap in humanitarian aid. The organisation has successfully provided multiple relief efforts to support women in crisis. It also offers vital education on menstrual health and hygiene, especially to young girls, who often lack access to sanitary products and face deeply rooted cultural taboos and inadequate education. These challenges frequently lead to missed school, limited educational opportunities, poor hygiene practices, and serious health risks.
