<div>Howard has recently changed their financial requirements for all students. Previously, your account would be placed under a hold if your balance was over $5,000. Even with this hold, students could still keep registered courses &amp; attend classes. Now, many students like me who are entering their final year at Howard are being told that <strong>ANY outstanding balance will be sent to collections at the start of the Fall semester.</strong> This can prevent over 1,000 students from finishing their studies &amp; obtaining their degrees.
