<div>For decades, Vera and her husband, Arnaldo, have been the heart and soul of their community. As long-time immigrants, they’ve built a life filled with hard work, generosity, and unwavering support for those around them.

<div>Vera, at 61, is the matriarch of the family, known for her boundless energy, warmth, and culinary skills. Her home has always been a sanctuary for family and friends, a place where everyone is welcomed and nurtured. Arnaldo, at 63, is the embodiment of resilience and humor. His positive energy and willingness to help others have made him a beloved figure in the community.

<div>Despite Arnaldo’s remarkable resilience over the years, including recovering from heart and gallbladder surgeries, the challenges he faces now are particularly daunting. Since September, he’s been unable to work due to severe sciatic pain, leading to numerous complications. He suffers from extreme swelling and pain in his legs and other parts of his body, as well as internal bleeding. In addition to these physical challenges, Arnaldo is now also grappling with extreme depression, anxiety, and constant panic attacks—challenges he has never faced before.

</div>
<div>The generosity of supporters will directly help Vera and Arnaldo during this difficult time. The funds will go towards catching up on overdue rent, ensuring they have stable housing, providing essential groceries so they don’t have to worry about meals, and covering necessary medical expenses to support Arnaldo’s recovery. This support will allow them to focus on healing and regaining their strength without the burden of financial stress.

<div>Vera and Arnaldo have spent their lives lifting others up, and now, in their time of need, we hope to rally around them with the same compassion and generosity they’ve shown others. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and bring them hope and relief.
