<div>I’m a fluid dynamicist, a researcher, and a career and leadership coach — but at my core, I’m a storyteller and an advocate for women in science.

<div><strong>I founded SOWIF to create a written platform that celebrates and amplifies the journeys of women — especially women of color — in fluid dynamics and related fields.</strong> Our mission is simple but powerful: to inspire the next generation of girls to see themselves in science, and to support women already in these careers with stories of resilience, belonging, and growth.

<div>We were fortunate to receive a government grant that covered the majority of our publication costs as part of a STEM-based outreach initiative. Unfortunately, in April, our grant was unexpectedly terminated because the project was deemed to “no longer effectuate the program goals or agency priorities.”

<div><strong>We are now at the finish line</strong>, with the manuscripts complete and the vision ready to come to life — <em>but we need your help to cross it</em>.
