My grandmother’s house — where my cousins, aunt, and uncle currently live — suffered severe roof damage, flooding, and the loss of everything inside. What was once our family’s gathering place is now filled with debris and heartbreak.

The roof was ripped apart by the storm, rainwater flooded every room, the fridge, cabinets, and all structural and essential items in the home were destroyed.
