But sometimes, love for your child gives you the courage to reach out and admit you need help.

<div>I am doing everything I can to protect and provide for my child, but have come into severe financial instability due to several factors. One being I am currently paying two mortgages as the shared home I moved out of has been listed for sale or rent for 4 months and is still sitting empty. Additionally, due to a recent custody matter, <strong>I’m in urgent need of legal support.</strong> Several months ago, I retained a lawyer I trust; however, in order to continue representation, I have to replenish the $5,000 retainer fee. While I’m working hard to make ends meet, this amount is simply out of reach on my own. For the first time since college, I am back living paycheck to paycheck.
