<div>My name is Tasheka Powell, and I live in Daytona Beach, Florida, and my family resides in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I am reaching out on behalf of my family living in Jamaica. <strong>Our family home, as well as the homes of my sisters and cousins, was completely destroyed by Hurricane Melissa, one of the strongest storms ever to hit Jamaica.</strong>

<div>We lost nearly everything: the roof collapsed, walls were flooded, personal belongings, cherished keepsakes, important documents—gone.

<div>Catherine Hall/Bogue/Catadupa/St. Elizabeth were heavily damaged, and many families are now displaced.

<div>In the midst of this crisis, we’re trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild our lives. the Funds will be spent <strong>to:</strong>

<div>• Replace essential items like mattresses, clothing, kitchen supplies
