<div>Hi, my name is Angel, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my amazing mother, <strong>Tamekia Hilderbrand</strong>, who is currently battling stage 1 breast cancer while also facing the threat of eviction from her home.

<div>In July 2025, my mother discovered a lump in her breast. After undergoing a biopsy, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has since consulted multiple doctors, and both confirmed that <strong>surgery is urgently needed to determine her next steps — whether that includes chemotherapy, radiation, or possibly oral medication.</strong>

<div>But as she fights for her health, we’re also fighting to keep a roof over her head.

<div>Over the last few months, travel costs to and from medical appointments have exceeded $1,700, and between co-pays and other bills, it has become nearly impossible to keep up with rent. She is now three months behind and has received a notice of eviction.

<div>The landlord has offered one chance: if we can pay the full back rent by October 3rd, he will cancel the eviction and renew her lease. But with everything going on — physically, emotionally, and financially — we simply cannot meet this deadline alone.
