<div>On September 3rd, my mom, Susan Blythe, of Shacklefords, Virginia, experienced the unimaginable—her home was completely destroyed by a fire. In just a matter of minutes, nearly everything she owned and worked so hard for was gone. Thankfully, she wasn’t home when the fire broke out, and her dog, Stevie, managed to make it to safety through a doggy door leading to the backyard. Miraculously, a few photo albums that had been tucked away in an ottoman survived, but everything else—furniture, clothing, and all of her belongings—was lost. Unfortunately, the property is uninsured.

<div>Susan is not the type to ask for help, but she and Stevie truly need it right now. Starting over after losing everything is overwhelming, and any support will make a difference as she begins to rebuild.

<div>This GoFundMe is being set up to help Susan get back on her feet. Donations will go directly toward replacing essentials, finding stability, and helping her begin the long road to recovery. Anything you can give, big or small, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated. Even if you can’t contribute financially, sharing this page means the world.

<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time. Your support will help Susan and Stevie find their way forward from this tragedy.
