<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for my sister Vero’s medical and future funeral expenses. Vero is the strongest among the six of us siblings—always the life of the party, always the one to lift our spirits when we needed it most.

<div>These past few years have brought unimaginable challenges. In 2017, she faced the devastating loss of her only daughter. In 2021, she was diagnosed with cancer—a battle she bravely fought and won. After undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from her stomach, we were hopeful as she began her recovery.

<div>But in a heartbreaking turn of events, we recently learned that her cancer has returned, this time in her liver. The past few weeks have been incredibly difficult for our entire family, especially her husband and son. Doctors at both Rush and Northwestern Memorial have told us there’s little more they can do, and Vero is now being transitioned into hospice care. Still, we hold onto hope and continue to pray for a miracle.
