<div>We’re coming together to support someone who gave so much of her life to others — Mrs. Lynn Hudgins, a beloved 5th grade teacher who taught at Mount Olive Elementary for over 40 years.

<div>Mrs. Hudgins dedicated her heart and soul to teaching, influencing more than 2,600 students over the course of her career. Teaching wasn’t just her profession — it was her calling. Even after retiring from public school, she continued to teach Sunday School with the same passion, believing every day was an opportunity to make a difference.

<div>Now, after a life of service, she needs a little help from the very community she helped shape.

<div>Why We're Raising Funds

<div>Mrs. Hudgins had to retire early due to disability, and now lives on a reduced fixed income that barely covers her needs. Since February, she’s been battling financial hardship, falling into overdraft month after month. A recent ambulance ride and hospital stay only made things worse.

<div>She’s currently facing:

<div>Overdraft and overdue bills

</div>

</div>

<div>Medical expenses and prescriptions she can’t afford

</div>

<div>A broken computer and television, cutting off communication and comfort

<div>A sick pet in need of veterinary care

</div>

</div>

<div>Home repair needs, including a broken wall that lets in bugs and animals

</div>

</div>

<div>Possible displacement, as her landlord may be asking her to leave soon

</div>

</div>

<div>Through all this, Mrs. Hudgins remains humble and grateful. She didn’t ask for money — only that we share her story and invite her former students and friends to help, if they feel led.
