<div>Recently, I underwent hip revision surgery to address an infection in my original hip replacement.  This meant that the whole replacement had to be redone and I am on IV antibiotics for the next month. While I’m incredibly grateful that the procedure went well, I’m now facing a 1–2 month recovery period where I’m unable to work 2 of my 3 jobs as they are movement dependent. This part has been the hardest to come to terms with.

<div>I’ve always tried to be independent and handle life’s challenges on my own, so asking for support doesn’t come easy to me. But the truth is, I could really use a hand right now.

<div>Funds raised will help cover essential expenses during this recovery time — social service agencies have been wonderful with some rent assistance but there is so much more that I am responsible for in order to ensure things stay stable, especially for my son Noah, until I get back on my feet (literally).
